Austill / Austells in Missouri

The following data pertains to my Father and Grandfather, each named Elzy Monroe Austill (Sr. & Jr). I do not know the exact year that Elzy, Sr. moved to Missouri but he and his first-wife Winifred Mae (Riley) Austill were there by 1916. Winifred died in Missouri, (either in the Dexter or Sikeston areas) in the early 1920's.
Elzy, Sr. married a widow, Laura Belle (Blazier) Hockersmith on 17 Oct 1925 in Missouri, (probably Sikeston.)
The family moved to Flint, Michigan, in 1927, but returned to Missouri, then moved back and forth several times before settling in Michigan, to stay, in the middle 1930's.

My Grandfather, Elzy Monroe Austill, Sr., his second wife Laura Belle, son Elzy Monroe Austill, Jr., daughter Alma Naoma Austill, and step-son William Banks, first moved to the Flint, Michigan area in about 1927. He came to find work in the auto industry. They had lived in south-eastern Missouri, around Dexter & Sikeston. They moved back and forth several times before settling in the Flint, Michigan area to stay, in about 1934 - 1936. Elzy had a sister, who went by the name Tillie, her given name is uncertain, I have it as Quintilla, Owentilla and Arzilla, (possibly none of those is correct). She married a man surnamed Beck and raised one daughter in the Sikeston area.

Oatley Austill (b. feb 1888), a cousin of Elzy's, also lived near Sikeston, Missouri for a time. I have information that he "went broke" and moved back to Indiana sometime in the 1930's. I do not know when he arrived in Missouri, nor if he left any family behind when he moved away.

There are presently several families of Austills in the southeastern area of Missouri. It is possible that they are related to some of the Indiana Austills, but as yet I have no proof of that.

There are also several families of Austell in the southeast of Missouri, I have no information on them as yet, but it is possible that they are descended of the Tennessee Austells or are of the lineage of Samuel L. Austell, who settled in Arkansas around St. Francis County.

At present I have no other information on the family in Missouri. I would surely appreciate any that might be shared.
