Biographical Notes on Thomas J. Austill

Thomas Jackson Austill, born in 1856, in Owen/Skelton Twp, Warrick County, Indiana, was the second son of Madison (Mathew) Austill & Hannah Gentry Austill.
Thomas married Lydia Angeline Chambers before 1879. They lived in Warrick County, IN for several years.

The children which I have record of, are:

1. Vandalia Austill, dob abt 1879
2. Arzilla Austill, (may have gone by the name Tillie), dob 5 Jan 1883
3. Unknown Male Austill, dob 4 Jan 1886, (died young)
4. Elzy Monroe Austill, Sr., dob 18 Apr 1893

Elzy Monroe Austill, Sr. is my (David Elzy Austill's) Grandfather.

Thomas & Lydia apparently moved from Warrick County, IN, sometime between the 1880 & 1900 census. (The 1890 census is not available, of course.) They moved to the southeastern part of Missouri, Scott County
