Dave's Questions:
1) Looking for any information on Isaac Austill, Sr. father of Major (b. 1766, Halifax County, Virginia)
2) Looking for any information on the wives of Isaac Austill, Sr., Major Austill, Sr., or the first wife of William Austill, (b. 1811, Surry County, North Carolina, married before 1828, in North Carolina), son of Major, Sr
3) Looking for any information on William Austill who married Rebecca Warren in Ross County, Ohio, in 1807, particularly birthplace, parents, etc.
4) Looking for any information on Julia A Booker (1819??-1901), third wife of William Austill (1811-1888). Parents believed to be Killis (or Millis) Booker & Prudence (nee unknown) Booker. Any information on parents, siblings, etc.
5) I have found lots of conflicting information as to the Maiden Name of my 2nd Great-Grandmother, Lucinda wife of John Chambers. I had information for years that her birth name was Bruner (or Buner) but have never found any supporting evidence. I have found several other scenarios concerning this family in other people's research, posted online: The first scenario is that John Chambers (b. abt 1815 Kentucky) was married Mary Potts (b 1815 Kentucky) in 1839 and she is the mother of the first six of his children, the rest being Lucinda's (nee unknown), his second wife (md abt 1849). The second scenario is that John Chambers married Lucinda Hall (b 1819, Kentucky) in 1835 and she is the mother of all of his children The third scenario is that John Chambers married Lucinda Denton (b 1819, Kentucky) in 1839 and she is the mother of all of his children. I think the biggest issue is that there was more than one John Chambers born in Kentucky in abt 1815 and there actually was one that married a Mary Potts, another that married a Lucinda Hall, yet another that married a Lucinda Denton. The problem is which one is the right one, or was there still another who married a Lucinda Bruner (or Buner)? I would certainly like to hear from anyone who has some conclusive evidence in this family
