Austills in Indiana

In my reseach thus far, I have found two "sources" of Austills in Indiana. The group which was centered in Warrick County, in the south west part of the state, are descended from Major Austill, who, with his family, moved there from the Yadkin Valley, Surry County, North Carolina, between 1835-1840. There were quite a few descendants from this group in the 1900 census. They settled south of Folsomville on the Owen Twp - Skelton Twp line.

There were some Austills who resided farther north in the state who desended from the Ohio Austills. At this stage in my research I have little information on this group.
