(b) Margaret Gardner married J. Mason Alexander, of Greenville, S. C. They have one son, Mason G. Alexander. Margaret Gardner Alexander died May 31, 1961.
4. Lilly Wray was born February 18, 1875, and was married to G. Barnett Cabaniss, December 28, 1904. To this union was born one child, Martha Wray. She was married June 8, 1935 to Ernest Franklin Young of Charlotte, N. C. They have one son, Ernest Franklin Young III. G. Barnett Cabiness passed away December 10, 1937. Lily Cabaniss died June 1, 1959.
5. John Wray was born April 17, 1878 and was married to Lawson A. Blanton, January 31, 1901. He died February 15, 1925. John Blanton died May, 1947.
(a) They have one child, Janie Ella, who was born 1903, and was married to Alton Glenn Story, of Georgia, November 25, 1926. Two sons were born to this union, Alton Glenn, Jr. and John Lawson.
(a-1) Alton Glenn Story, Jr. was born in 1927. He married June Phillips of Raleigh in 1953. They have one son, June Glenn Story; 1954.
(a-2) John Lawson Story was born in 1930. He married Shirley O'Neill of New Jersey in 1955. They have two children: Lynn Blanton Story, born in 1956 and John Lawson Story, Jr., 1958.
On November 1, 1938, Janie Blanton Story was married to Charles Lewis Haney, of Marion, North Carolina.
6. Pearl Wray was born November 2,1880, and was married to Charles G. McBrayer, December 5, 1900. To this union was born one child, Frances Ella, born in 1921, who married Flay Henkel Hoey. Charles G. HcBrayer passed away May 8, 1940.
7. William Hugh Wray was born August 28, 1884, and died December 15, 1948, of cancer. He was married to Kathleen McBrayer, June 11, 1907. Kathleen McBrayer Wray died November 20, 1960. They lived in Shelby, N. C. They had no children. He was in the automobile business for 35 years. He was a very outstanding contributor to all drives of any nature, especially to his church and those in need. He was very active in his church as long as he was able to attend.
8. Mayme Wray was born January 28, 1887, and was married to Carl R. Webb, September 24, 1906. To this union was born one son, Carl Wray Webb, November 3, 1908.
(a) Carl Wray Webb attended Bailey Military Institute and N.C. State College. He served in the U.S. Army from 1944-45. He is a member of Rotary International; Masonic Lodge No. 202, Oasis Temple; American Legion, Warren Hoyle Post; B.P.O.E. No. 1709. He married Virginia Hoyle of Lincolnton, N.C. , July 31, 1932. She is a graduate of St. Mary's School in Raleigh, N.C. They have two sons: Carl Wray Webb, Jr., and Walter Hoyle Webb.
